Volunteer Teaching Program

Music should be for everyone,
not just those who can afford it.

Equity Program

Our studio emphasizes the value of equity in music education. We believe every child deserves the opportunity to experience the joy of learning, regardless of financial background. As part of this commitment, we dedicate time each week to a Volunteer Teaching Program that provides free lessons to children and families from low-income households.

How It Works

  • Weekly volunteer session (in-person or online).

  • For children or families from low-income backgrounds.

  • Application required to ensure spots go to those most in need.

  • Small group or individual depending on availability.

3

Eligibility & Application

To ensure this initiative reaches those who need it most, families are invited to apply briefly describing their situation. Spots are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to students from low-income households.

Join as a Volunteer Teacher

Our studio emphasizes the value of equity in music education, and we believe this vision is best achieved together. We warmly invite other teachers who share the same passion for community service to join this meaningful program. By volunteering even a small amount of time, you can help make music accessible for children and families who might not otherwise have this opportunity.

How to Get Involved:

  • Share your availability (weekly or monthly)

  • Indicate whether you prefer online or in-person teaching

  • We will connect you with families in need and provide any support materials

Applications for the 2025–2026 program year are now closed.

Families interested in applying for the following cycle are encouraged to check back in Fall 2025 for updated intake information.
